Making the investment
We are always in standby mode. Langholm’s investment committee meets at short notice to consider new transactions.
After an initial successful review, new opportunities are submitted to the Investment Committee, which determines if the investment is of potential interest to Langholm.
Langholm benefits from being independently owned and managed, allowing decisions to be taken at short notice when required. With our small team of investment professionals, the decision making process is not only quick and efficient, but also transparent.
Once an investment has been approved, the full resources of Langholm’s team and our external advisers are committed with a view to completing the investment.
Whilst the investment opportunity is being appraised, a template for information reporting and the measurement of the progress of the business plan is devised with management. Investment progress is then monitored against these pre-determined milestones.
